Nutwood Farm Equestrian Centre is a premier horse equestrian and agistment facility set on 56 acres located in Windsor Downs, Hawkesbury District. Nutwood Farm is just 25km from the Sydney International Equestrian Centre in Horsley Park and is only short drive from the M7 freeway.

We have endeavoured to create an environment where your horse can "be a horse" without compromising on any of the comforts, facilities and safety that you and your horse require. Whether your horse is retired, needing a spell or in full work and competing we can accommodate your needs.

TRAINING, STARTING AND EXERCISING

Be trained by the best... Our well known Sandy Lucas is at the top of her game, with years of experience as a top level eventing competitor and as an NCAS accredited instructor, Sandy can offer comprehensive services for the performance horse owner or rider of all levels.

Sandy was the Winner of the 2001 Highlands International CCI* 3DE & 4th place in the 2002 Melbourne International CCI* 3DE to name a few of her accomplishments.

Lessons can be conducted on your own horse or on one of our quality schoolmaster horses. From beginners to advance we can cater for all levels. Sandy would tailer lessons to suit your skills, future goals and budget.

HORSE AGISTMENT PRICING AND FEEDING PROGRAMME

The cost of agisting your horse depends on a number of factors that are centred around your horses requirements, but mainly due to the following criteria:

	The feed required to keep your horse healthy
	The age
	The breed
	The condition it arrives at the property
	The amount of work it will be doing whilst here

Nutwood Farm offers worry-free agistment that allows you to feel confident that your horse is being looked after in a calm and caring environment. For example, worming will be administered every six to eight weeks by staff, giving you care-free piece of mind. This also ensures every horse on the property is worm free and that the paddocks are maintained to a high standard. We can also organise a regular farrier to care for your horse’s feet.

ON ARRIVAL AT NUTWOOD FARM

On arrival at Nutwood Farm you are required to complete an Application for Agistment and pay two weeks agistment and initial worming.  Your horse will then be put be in quarantine for 48 hours. Thereafter agistment fees must be paid two weeks in advance.

Horses are wormed every 8 weeks at a cost of $20 per horse (paste supplied by Nutwood), owners are welcome to supply a recommend worming paste for administration at no charge.
